Accelerated decomposition

A less invasive and more affordable approach than grinding can be achieved by chemical treatment. Involving Ecoplug technology, a hole is drilled in the stump and a capsule containing granular glyphosate is installed which then slowly releases the herbicide into the stump over a period of time causing it to die and decompose naturally.
